  • Schedule

    • Entry Time: Saturday, October 6th, 8AM- 4PM
    • Release Time:  Sunday, October 14th, 1PM- 4PM
    • Premiums:  Will be paid for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Best in Division.
    • Items may be picked up Saturday, October 13th after 9:30 PM or Sunday October 14th from 1-4 PM. Exhibits not picked up by 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 14th will be discarded. Items picked up early will forfeit premiums.

  • Rules

    • Entries in the Produce Division are open to all citizens of Walton, Holmes, and Okaloosa Counties.
    • Entry time will be Saturday, October 6th from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
    • There is a limit of one entry per variety per person in each class. They should have the variety name on the front or lid of the jar.
    • All items should be marked with exhibitor’s name, address, and phone number, but not showing to the public.
    • Produce items must have been grown by the exhibitor within the previous year.
    • All exhibits must be high quality, clean and free from insect damage.
    • Items must be marketable.
  • Entry Examples

    • 3 stalks cane, topped and tied
    • 5 ears of corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. 
    • 1/2 dozen eggs (in carton)
    • 1 quart dried, shelled beans, peas, corn, peanuts, etc in a jar.
    • 1 pumpkin, watermelon, stalk of cotton, bale of hay, etc.
    • 1/2  pint small seeds (flowers, okra, etc) in glass jar
  • Class Divisions

    • Garden vegetables - cucumbers, cabbage, broccoli, etc.
    • Field Crops -  cotton, corn, potatoes, peanuts, etc.
    • Peppers - all varieties
    • Fruits - pears, apples, etc.
    • Persimmons - all varieties
    • Pumpkins/Squash - all varieties
    • Eggs - all varieties
    • Seeds - fruit, vegetable, flowers
    • Nuts - pecans, chestnuts, walnuts, etc.
    • Pepper sauce
    • Honey
    • Hay
    • Misc.:  cane syrup, cane juice, etc.
