Day 1 of the Walton County Fair – A Huge Success!

Day 1 of the Walton County Fair was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the start of our 100th Anniversary celebration. Don’t forget to check out the new mural art and stay tuned for more fun all week long!

What an incredible start to the 100th Anniversary of the Walton County Fair! 🎉 We were thrilled to welcome even more visitors than anticipated on our opening day, and we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who showed up and helped make Day 1 a massive success. 🙌

One of the highlights of the day was the unveiling of our beautiful new mural, which celebrates the rich history and heritage of Walton County. The mural has quickly become a popular photo spot for fairgoers, capturing the spirit of our 100-year celebration. Make sure to stop by and snap a picture when you visit!

From the ribbon cutting to the exciting rides, live performances, and fantastic food, the atmosphere was electric, and it was amazing to see so many smiling faces celebrating this historic milestone with us.

A special shoutout to our hardworking volunteers and vendors who made the day run smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Missed Day 1? Don’t Worry!

The fun continues all week long, with plenty more exciting events, competitions, and entertainment lined up. Gates open at 5 PM every day, so come on down and join the celebration!

🚍 Free shuttle service is available from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM each evening, with pick-up locations at the DeFuniak Springs Civic CenterWalton County Health Department, and Allen Drive Parking Lot.
