Michael “Brant” McCollough is 17 years old and resides in Samson, AL. He is a senior at Kinston High School and is taking college classes at LBW Community College. Brant is active in sports, such as football and baseball, and serves as KHS varsity quarterback.
Brant is an avid guitarist and has been playing the guitar since 3rd grade. After many years of encouragement from his parents, Brant began singing and performing in public. He is extremely passionate about is music and plans to pursue a career in the music industry. His preferred musical style is country with an Appalachian feel.
Brant attends Abundant Life Church, and is an active member of his youth group. He states his musical abilities are not talents, but a gift from God. He has been working on weekends and school breaks performing at venues, restaurants, private parties, and weddings. He has performed and placed in local talent searches, such as Southern Lights, The Search for a Star and the Hank Williams Sr. Talent Showcase.
Recently, he was a contestant on Season 22 of American Idol. He did very well, advancing quickly, making it through multiple rounds. After two weeks in Hollywood, CA, Brant advanced to the Show Stopper week. On return home, he decided to form a band, known locally as the Brant McCollough Band.
An 18-year-old bass guitarist from Florala, AL, plays for the band 55 South and loves old country music.
A high-energy acoustic duo featuring Nashville artists Laura Lane and Chip Martin, specializing in classic rock and 90’s country.
From the Panhandle Opry, they play a mix of classic country and rock, bringing a unique sound to the stage.

Kiera Howell, 15, is an award-winning vocalist and lead singer of Next Exit, performing across the Southeast and opening for notable artists.
